Nick has Von Willebrands Disorder, Type 2A, and lives in Maine. He has been actively engaged with NEHA and formerly with the Hemophilia Alliance of Maine (HAM), for the last 10 years. Nick has been the Maine State Lead with the New England Bleeding Disorders Advocacy Coalition (NEBDAC), he has worked with the Bleeding Disorders Substance Use and Mental Health Advocacy Coalition (BD SUMHAC), was a Board Member for HAM, and is now excited to be a member of NEHA’s Board of Directors.
Professionally, Nick works as an Outpatient Therapist with children, teens, and young adults in Gorham, Maine. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, going on hikes and adventures with his dog and husband, and exploring all the small towns and islands in Maine. Nick is excited to bring his passion for advocacy, mental health, and healthy equity work to NEHA to help support all New England folks living with bleeding disorders.
