Carolyn is a mom of two boys with severe hemophilia A. She has been actively engaged with the NEHA community since they were diagnosed. NEHA’s programming in particular has played an enormous role in her family finding strength and support while navigating the early stages of a bleeding disorder diagnosis for her children. She currently serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors.
Carolyn was born and raised in Long Island, New York, but relocated to the Boston area to attend college, where she met her husband Jeff. The two remained in the Boston area to attend graduate school and Carolyn completed her PhD in developmental biology.
Professionally, Carolyn works as a Sales and Service Manager for a local supplier of protein detection reagents. Carolyn and Jeff still reside in the Boston area with their two sons and their dog, Brady.
