Winter Camp
Our Annual Winter Camp will be held from Friday, February 14 to Sunday, February 16 at Camp Mechuwana in Winthrop, ME.
Winter Camp features engaging outdoor programming for the entire family that includes ice fishing, snow shoeing, and more. These activities are coupled with bleeding disorders education and social connection time for attendees of all ages.
About Winter Camp
- We will be staying in bunk-style, heated and insulated accommodations and all meals are included.
- Equipment will be provided, but you are welcome to use your own snowshoes and fishing traps. If you made an ice fishing trap in the past, please bring that. Only children who are first time attendees will be making traps.
- Families will be responsible for their children at all times.
- Be prepared for cold weather and spending extended time outside. If you do not have cold weather gear, please let us know and we can help.
- Please note that the expectation will be that if you attend, you will be participating in all outdoor activities.
- No medical or infusion support will be available onsite. All medical care must be managed by individuals and their family members.
Registration
- The event is free for any 2025 NEHA member.
- The fee for non-members is only $10 per person.

This event has limited spots available and we will give priority to new families.
Cancellation Policy
- If you cancel your registration within one week of the event or do not show up for the event, you will be charged a cancellation fee of $30 per person.
- Please do not attend this event if you have tested positive for COVID-19, the flu, RSV, or have cold-like symptoms.
