FallFest
Every year, we host our annual meeting, called FallFest. At FallFest, there is wide-range of educational programming for adults, teenagers (13-18 years old), youth (6–12 years old), and childcare (0–5 years old).
FallFest will be held from Saturday, November 9 to Sunday, November 10 at the Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Agenda Overview
- Friday, November 8 (Pre-Conference Activities)
- 12 PM: NEBDAC Advocacy Stakeholder Meeting (invitation only)
- 6 PM: Membership and Welcome Reception (optional)
- All are invited to help us kick-off FallFest! Appetizers and a cash bar will be available. All 2024 Silver, Gold, and Platinum NEHA Members will be recognized during the reception.
- Saturday, November 9
- 8 AM: Registration and breakfast begin.
- 9 AM: Programming begins, featuring:
- Presentations by HTC medical providers on hot topics for the bleeding disorders community. Have your questions answered by providers in an open forum for patients and caregivers.
- Meet the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation’s (NBDF) new CEO, Phil Gattone, and hear updates from the national organization.
- Interactive keynote session on understanding potential with Pat Torrey from GutMonkey.
- Connect with others experiencing similar circumstances during our rap sessions.
- Family-friendly activity and dance party on Saturday Evening.
- Childcare, Youth & Teen Tracks featuring fun programming by Believe Limited and other local organizations, along with activities by our Camp Counselors. Attendees will also enjoy a field trip to nearby museums to explore everything from science and art to the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss
- Lunch and dinner will be provided on Saturday.
- Sunday, November 10
- 8 AM: Breakfast begins.
- 9 AM: Programming begins, featuring:
- Presentations on transitioning for kids, young adults, and adults.
- NEHA Annual Meeting featuring an organizational update and what to expect in 2025.
- New England Bleeding Disorders Advocacy Coalition (NEBDAC) presentation and advocacy recap.
- 12 PM: FallFest ends.
- A detailed agenda will be shared with registered attendees.
Travel and Accommodations
- Hotel: Our discounted hotel room block is full, and most hotels in Springfield are sold out. If you still need a hotel room, there are affordable options within driving distance near Hartford’s Bradley International Airport.
- Hotel Scholarships: A limited number of hotel scholarships are available to 2024 NEHA Members who would not otherwise be able to afford a hotel room. To request a scholarship, please email Diane at [email protected]. Requesting a scholarship does not guarantee acceptance. If you receive a hotel scholarship for this event, you are ineligible to also receive travel assistance through our $100 for 100 miles program for this event.
- The deadline to request a hotel scholarship has passed.
- Travel Assistance: All NEHA 2024 members in need of financial assistance, who traveled more than 100 miles roundtrip to this event, are eligible for our $100 for 100 miles program. Funds for this program are limited. More details will be shared after the event.
Registration
- The event is free for any 2024 NEHA member.
- The fee for non-members is only $10 per person.

- NEHA strongly recommends that anyone eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine be fully vaccinated prior to attending any event.

Cancellation Policy
