Virtual Campfire
On Saturday, April 18, we hosted our first-ever virtual campfire! This special event allowed our entire community to come together and celebrate the 30th Annual World Hemophilia Day.
Andy and former Counselors and Junior Counselors led us in a fun-filled evening of everyone’s favorite camp traditions, including songs, reading stories, and other activities. All participants were encouraged to wear their favorite Hawaiian attire, or their favorite Family Camp t-shirt to the virtual campfire!
Theme
The theme for our Virtual Family Camp is “ohana,” meaning “family” in the Hawaiian language. Like Family Camp, ohana represents so much more than a few words. In Hawaiian culture, ohana involves people coming together to support one another. While we may not be together physically this summer, we are united by experience and how much we care for each other. Wicked Strong. Together.
