FallFest: October 14–15

For the first time in nearly a decade, we are thrilled to host this year’s FallFest in Hartford, CT from Saturday, October 14 to Sunday, October 15, at the Hartford Marriott Downtown! FallFest registration is now closed.

Keynote Speaker

We are honored to have Jeanne White-Ginder, mother of the late Ryan White, as our keynote speaker! Jeanne will share the moving and inspiring story of how Ryan became a symbol of hope for the hemophilia and HIV/AIDS communities in the 1980s, and how his legacy continues to live on today.

Educational Programing

FallFest will be a two-day event to provide educational programming for adults, teenagers (13-18 years old), youth (6–12 years old), and children (newborns–5 years old). Highlights include:

  • A panel discussion about NEHA's 60 year history,
  • Providers from New England Hemophilia Treatment Center's (HTC's) giving an update about medical advancements,
  • NEHA's annual meeting,
  • 2017 volunteer awards,
  • A family friendly Halloween dinner and dance (costumes are encouraged),
  • The first Powering Through filming in New England,
  • And so much more!

Room Blocks

All NEHA room blocks are now closed. You can still book a room outside of the block directly through the Downtown Hartford Marriott's website.

Saturday Night Halloween Dance

We are hosting a Halloween dance with music, games, and a buffet dinner on Saturday, October 15. Halloween costumes are strongly encouraged!

Registration and Cancellation Fee

FallFest registration closes on Friday, October 6. Registration is free for NEHA members, and only $10 a person for any non-member. If you are registered but can no longer attend, please notify us immediately. If a cancellation occurs within 72 hours of the event, you will be charged with a $30 service fee.

Financial Assistance

We can help with travel costs to and from Hartford through our "$100 for 100" program. A $100 subsidy can be offered to any 2017 NEHA member traveling more than 100 miles roundtrip. Simply pick up a form at the FallFest registration table and provide us with proof of the miles driven. A check for $100 will be mailed to you after the event.
