FallFest: November 3-4 (Manchester, NH)

 


We are excited to host this year’s FallFest in Manchester, NH from Saturday, November 3rd until Sunday, November 4th, at the Downtown Manchester Hotel!



Educational Programing


FallFest is a two-day event to provide educational programming for adults, teenagers (13-18 years old), youth (6–12 years old), and children (newborns–5 years old). Highlights include:


  • Providers from New England Hemophilia Treatment Center's (HTC's) will give an important update about medical advancements
  • Unveiling of the Beyond the Diagnosis hemophilia portrait
  • NEHA's Annual Meeting
  • 2018 volunteer awards
  • A family friendly dinner and 80s dance party
  • And so much more!

Premiere of Bombardier Blood

NEHA is thrilled to be the first chapter to provide a screening of Bombardier Blood. Created by Patrick James Lynch, Bombardier Blood, is a feature length documentary which chronicles Chris's successful summit of Mt. Everest. The premiere of Bombardier Blood will be on Friday, November 2nd at 7:30 PM. This event is optional. Snacks and drinks will be provided.


Keynote Speaker

FallFest offically begins with check-in at 7:30 AM on Saturday, November 3rd. Our keynote speaker is Chris Bombardier. Chris has severe hemophilia B and successfully summited the highest mountain on each of the seven continents. The keynote talk will be on Saturday, November 3rd at 9AM.

Room Blocks


NEHA has a room block for $132 a night on Friday, November 2nd and Saturday, November 3rd. You can book online or by calling the hotel at 603-625-1000 and referencing NEHA. The room block ends on Friday, September 28th.  


Please note the Downtown Manchester Hotel is changing management and will soon be the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester.



Registration and Cancellation Fee


FallFest registration closes on Tuesday, October 19th. Registration is free for NEHA members, and only $10 a person for any non-member. If you are registered but can no longer attend, please notify us immediately. If a cancellation occurs within 72 hours of the event, you will be charged with a $30 per person fee.


Financial Assistance


We can help with travel costs to and from Manchester through our "$100 for 100 miles" program. A $100 subsidy can be offered to any 2018 NEHA member traveling more than 100 miles roundtrip. Simply pick up a form at the FallFest registration table and provide us with proof of the miles driven. A check for $100 will be mailed to you after the event.
